The Story of Muse + Pebble

Jewellery has always been more than just something to wear. It’s a connection, a memory, a little piece of who we are.

Growing up in Edinburgh, my favourite pastime was visiting a magical shop called Helios Fountain—a treasure trove of beads, trinkets, and charms. It was like a sweetie pick ‘n’ mix, but instead of sweets, I’d fill my hands with tiny gems and glass beads, imagining all the pieces I could create. I'd rush home, tipping my new finds onto the floor, and spend hours stringing together bracelets, necklaces, and earrings—each one made with excitement and a childlike sense of wonder.

Jewellery has always been a part of my life, and it turns out, it runs in the family. During lockdown, my daughter Poppy, at just eight years old, started her own thriving bracelet business. What began as a little project soon became something much bigger—people loved what she created, and she loved making them. Now, she’s the creative muse behind our Mini Muse collection, bringing fresh ideas and playful charm to our designs.

Family and connection are at the heart of Muse + Pebble. With family in Cyprus, I spent years travelling back and forth, visiting tiny jewellery shops filled with pieces that felt so special, so unique. No two designs were the same, and each one held a story. That love for beautiful, meaningful jewellery—the kind that feels personal—stayed with me.

When I moved away from my home city of 38 years, I felt a little lost. I missed the familiar streets, the places I loved, and the people who made it home. Each morning, I would put on a necklace—a chain with small pendants carefully curated from my mums collection. With each charm, I felt grounded, tethered to home. That feeling became the inspiration for our Tethered Collection—pieces designed to be worn as a reminder of the people, places, and moments that shape us.

At Muse + Pebble, every piece is made and packaged with love and care. We create small-batch, limited-run designs, ensuring that every necklace, charm, and bracelet remains as unique as the person wearing it. Because jewellery should be more than just an accessory—it should hold meaning, spark memories, and feel like a little part of you.

I hope you find something here that speaks to you—something you’ll reach for every day, something that connects you to your own story.

With love,
